My greatest teacher
I have had many teachers over the years. ⠀
Primary school, intermediate, secondary school teachers.⠀⠀ 
Music teachers, coaches, academic tutors.⠀⠀ 
University lecturers, senior practitioners and Judges. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ 
From them I have gained valuable skills, knowledge and learnings.⠀⠀ 
They have taught me things that have helped paved the way to become the person I am. 
They have armed me with power, possibility and opportunity. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ 
I remember the good ones and the not so good ones. ⠀⠀
I remember the effective methods and the not so effective ones.⠀⠀ 
I remember the skills I wanted to carry through, and the ones I wanted to leave behind.⠀⠀ 
Nonetheless, they have all taught me things I will carry as I continue to walk this planet.⠀⠀
I will forever be grateful for them.⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ 
However, some of my biggest learnings have not come from them. ⠀⠀ 
My biggest teacher hasn’t got a title, a degree or a salary. ⠀⠀ 
She doesn’t have experience, a variety of skills or knowledge just yet. ⠀⠀ 
But she is the one who has opened my mind and my world the most. ⠀
She is the one who has taught me the most about myself.⠀⠀ 
She is the one who challenges me the most to think differently.⠀⠀ 
She is the one who makes me want to be the best I can be, ⠀⠀ 
For myself, ⠀⠀
For her,⠀⠀ 
For our family.⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ 
Her teachings are invaluable, they are life changing and they are everlasting. ⠀⠀ 
They cannot be taught through the pages of books, through the audio of podcasts or through the screen of PowerPoints.⠀⠀ 
They need to be experienced with her, as she learns too. ⠀⠀ 
She is my greatest teacher. ⠀⠀ 
She is my child. ⠀
